A collection developed over 25 years ago is still in continuous production today, having evolved into a modern classic within the contract and public interiors market. Its longevity reflects strong demand, proven durability, and sustained financial performance for the manufacturer.
I have collaborated with Tenzo, developing furniture collections that combined Scandinavian design with strong market appeal. The collections achieved significant commercial success across Europe, generating substantial revenue and long-term value for the brand.
I collaborated with Target to design furniture collections that blend style, functionality, and mass-market appeal. My Back to College collection was a major success, selling over 100,000 units, demonstrating the power of trend-driven, affordable design.Target’s approach to furniture design is a balance between affordability, style, and accessibility, making it a strong competitor to brands like IKEA and Walmart.

COSIcom Design Strategy is a method for creating innovative, sustainable, and user-centered design solutions through a combination of COntext, SImplicity, and COMmunication.
The Three Core Elements of COSIcom:
COntext – Understanding users' needs, behaviors, and the environment in which the product will be used. Analyzing trends, the market, and cultural aspects is key.
SImplicity – Designing with clarity, functionality, and minimalism in focus. This involves reducing unnecessary elements and creating intuitive, efficient solutions.
COMmunication – The product should clearly communicate its purpose, material choices, and sustainability aspects, both visually and through the user experience.
The biggest success within the COSIcom Design Strategy was the Jellyfish Chair, which was sold worldwide and became an iconic product. Its unique design and innovative manufacturing method made it highly sought after and frequently copied.
I have collaborated with Index Interfurn to design furniture collections that blend functionality with contemporary aesthetics. My designs focus on innovative, market-driven solutions tailored for large-scale production, ensuring style and accessibility for a global audience.
If you compare Index Interfurn to IKEA, it follows a similar flat-pack and trend-driven model but doesn’t have the same global brand presence. Compared to premium brands like Poliform or Vitra, Index Interfurn is positioned in a more budget-friendly and mass-market segment.
